Manipulate Shape

Change the body shape by simply adjusting a few predictors such as stature, BMI, ratio of erect sitting height to stature. Slide the bars or input values to change.

Export Shape

Save the chosen body shape into your local depository in a generic 3D mesh format. Click the "EXPORT_STL" button to save your model as a STL file.

Anthropometry Prediction

This model contains a feature to predict standard anthropometric values and anatomical landmark points of the choosen body shape.

About

How it works



  • Based on Scans from 137 Children

    This model is based on whole body laser scan data of a total of 137 children ages 3 to 11 years. A set of surface landmarks and standard anthropometric values were also measured. All the measurements were performed by the Biosciences Group at UMTRI

  • Statistical Analysis

    Standardized scans along with a set of manually measured landmarks and anthropometric variables were analyzed using principal component analysis. Principal component scores were associated with a set of predictors such as stature, BMI, and ratio of erect sitting height to stature using a regression model.
